Barehams Boarding Kennels

I have recently started using barehams kennels for my cat and dog and find it a very clean and organised placed. All the pens are very clean and hygenic because they are concrete which was explained to me so they could be disinfected everyday to help prevent germs. Both my animals are always happy and come home well looked after. The staff are always very very friendly and helpful.

I had to take my dog to Barehams as an emergency when my child became ill. They treated him very well and we have used them constantly since then. He is always happy to go in and virtually pulls our arm off to get there. Yes it's concerete but the kennels are heated in winter. They are always clean and I know people who are animal charity workers who kennel their own dogs there.

i am looking to see what your kennels are like i am just wondering if anyone had some info 4 me that would be great BUT it WOULD have to be to me b4 the 2ND of JULY

Went to view the Kennels b4 I booked my dog in as this was what they asked me to do.... Found the kennel lady a bit aloof and in a rush...The kennels were all concrete with caged fronts which are housed in what looks like a large wooden shed/barn. The dogs dont get walked they just get put into larger pens while their smaller pens are 'mucked out' there is no grass in sight and the place looks very dull and cold. On a positive note the pens looked clean but the dog food/water bowls were dirty/grimey. The dogs I saw did look quite happy but seemed to want to be 'let out of the cage' Was surprised to see the place was used for rescue dogs.... wouldnt want to stay there long myself...In short mostly: clean but not very pet friendly, def not a pets holiday.......i gave it a miss

i have been taking my 2 dogs to bareham for about 2-3 years and it is always very friendly and helpfull the dogs seem to love going and always seem healthy when i collect them.The staff are very nice and its a pleasure to use them. i would recommend barehams to anyone.
