Reviews

  • 4 Great Service

Having used both of Grays independent cycle shops over the years, Thurrock Cycle Centre is certainly the better of the two. The staff certainly know their products and offered great advice when I recently purchased a bike for my daughter. The bike I wanted to buy her they refused to sell me as, in their opinion, it was too big for her and therefore dangerous. I thought she would just grow into it! In hindsight I am grateful for their advice which shows they are not just about flogging bikes. I recently bought myself a more advanced bike than I had previously owned and they were very patient in answering my multitude of questions about alloy frames, disc brakes etc and ultimately we whittled down the huge selection on offer to the right bike with the right tyres for the type of use the bike would be getting. I'm really happy with it and am taking it in for it's first free service at the weekend. Bikes are not cheap so if you are going to buy one, it makes sense to go somewhere where you can spend your money knowing you have bought the right bike rather than the one with the flashiest gimmick or colours (although I think they have those too if you want them!)
