The Swallow Coach Company Ltd

My friend got married last weekend, and they used Swallow coaches from Rainham,Essex. The driver had no clue as to where he was meant to be going,so got us lost,bearing in mind he had known about this booking for about 6 months+,and also you would think that they would have a sat nav.On the journey home,the driver decided to slam on his brakes when i must add,speeding at 75mph +,2 of my friends hit their heads where they were asleep.The driver said he was being verbally abused by us,when the majority were asleep,as it was about 1am.He called the police and made up numerous stories that people were abusing him and hitting him????Weirdo!I was sat 2 rows from him and i cant say i witnessed any such thing. He pulled over on the hard shoulder where lorries were swervingto avoid us,i had to remind him that he should put his hazards on and guide us to the bank where we would be safe. He continued to be rude and arrogant and we had to wait 45mins for the police to arrive and had to have a policeman escort the rest of the journey. A few of us have since complained to the company,but once again got another rude,vile lunatic who told my friend that he earns more ina month than she does in a year and doesnt have time to listen to her.Please please please do not use this company,they are extremley unprofessional and should be closed down and the staff sent to Warley mental hospital for treatment!

I can only echo everything my fellow reviewer has said. I had the displeasure of using this company when attending a wedding. Swallow Coaches were hired to take guests from the wedding ceremony to the reception. Not only did the driver not know the way to the reception, but on returning home at the end of the night claimed he had been hit and had things thrown at him and called the police for an escort home! I was sitting approximately 4 rows from the front and did not witness any of this behaviour. Granted, some jokes were made about the drivers inability to get us too and from the destination but I did not witness any abuse toward the driver. It was an utterly embarassing situation and upon calling Swallow Coaches I was allowed to speak to a charming gentleman who had no interest in hearing what I had to say at all. He claimed I was on the "rowdy" coach - a completely unfounded statement as the grooms father and his young son were also on my coach. This company is completely unprofessional and I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

We booked a 22 seater coach to take clients to the races. It was supposed to be an executive coach but they ended up with an old beaten up coach that looked more like a bus. When my boss and clients came out of the races the coach had left with no warning and all their coats they were abandoned them in cheltenham. When we called them they tried to make out that my boss was drunk and wouldn't leave the races when infact he is t-total. And they kept quoting some driving hours law, where a drivier can only drive for a certain amount of time. When infact the contract we had with them was for well over this time. When we called to complain the next day the customer service was non existent, a man shouted and swore at us straight away. . I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! The service we received was disgusting.
