I brought my car for repair at your garage on two occasions in the last two months. However regrettably having identified two different causes of the same faults each time, the fault has not been repaired. Today the vehicle was returned to me with guarantee that the fault had been repaired. The car only drove 3 miles and fault reappeared. It is utterly disappointing and in testing times for motor industry an appalling customer service which has dented my trust in Vauxhall dealership. My above Zafira which is less than 3 years old and driven 50,000 miles developed a fault in engine in February 2009. I was told at the first visit the garage required a part which was on order. However I received a call few minutes later to tell me the car was ready. I asked if the part has been replaced. I was told there was no part to be replaced. The vehicle is unacceptable and potentially life threatening fault. The car cuts off the engine suddenly with engine lights come on. It happened to me when I was driving on middle lane in M1 last Sunday. The car engine warning sign came on and before I could even safely pull in the hard shoulder, the car suddenly lost power and engine cut off. I was stuck in far lane with two young children and one infant in the car. Luckily the motorist behind me stopped to avoid horrific crash. I told this to the Crown motor staff. It is deeply distressing that they have such a cavalier approach that they again range me within two hours to say the car had been repaired. I asked the fault and I was told that it was simply upgrading the CPU. As usual with this fault, I had to switch off the engine and locked and unlock to restart the car. The same thing happens again and again. On two occasions I had to pay the two company to two the car costing me £95 for two trips and I paid £23 to Crown Motors for obtaining code which was completely unrelated to the fault which is still there.
