• bad deal

  I bought a specialised folding bike as described through ebay,in conjunction to Avelocycles,but when i received the item it was diagnosed to have a fault with its bearings within the handle bars as it would not turn the wheel from left to right.I phoned numerous times to Amazon and they said they could not do anything about it and that i should contact Avelocycles direct.When contacting Avelocyles only through email they asked me to send images of the folding bike to try and decifer where the problem was.I immediatley came to the conclusion that this company is going to give me trouble and low and behold,the email came back to me saying their engineer had seen the images sent and replied that there was no fault with the folding bike and I should take it to a bike shop. Obviously I was furious and told myself if I had that person in front of me and he said this to me and would have put his lights out there and then.But one can not do that as one is subjected to sending silly emails to and fro wasting peoples time. After long deliberation my wife and I decided to contact our solicitor which happens to be my brother and also sent Avelocycles a strong email telling them that this case will be dealt with in court. I am appauled at the way this compant conducts transactions and business..they should keep the customer happy at all times. I will not ever ever ever use this company again.Internet shopping is a joke.
