Inconsistent I trained with Academy several months ago and have since passed my DAS with another school where the difference was obvious. Academy taught the CBT well, although being six foot two I struggled with the tiny bikes, but I think this would occur everywhere. My main problem with Academy was the change of teacher half way through my four day DAS course. This was exaggerated by the fact that my first trainer was very good (9/10) but my second trainer was awful (1/10) who would literally scream at me and my training buddy whilst on the road!

I don’t normally write online reviews and have only ever written a complaint before but I feel compelled to give praise where it is due, and that is squarely in the hands of Aspen. Norman was a fantastic teacher who acted professionally, he was informative and above all patient which is something that was absent a previous school I went to. The motorbike I used was good for the job, well maintained and felt about 50% better than the bike I had used at a previous school. Amazingly Aspen made my experience of passing the brand new DAS test enjoyable! Thanks Norman. Steve
